Short version: the tools run in your browser, so the text and files you use with them never reach us. We don’t use analytics, advertising or accounts.
Data you enter into tools
Everything you type, paste or open in a tool is processed locally by your browser. It is not sent to our servers, stored by us or shared with anyone. Closing or reloading the page discards it.
What we collect
We do not collect personal information. Specifically, we do not use:
- Analytics or visitor tracking scripts
- Advertising or advertising cookies
- User accounts, sign-up forms or newsletters
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, and may keep it in logs for a limited time. We use these logs only to fix problems and keep the site secure. Cloudflare’s handling of this data is described in its privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Cookies and local storage
Valn Tools does not set cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to tell people from automated attacks; these are not used for tracking.
Some tools remember your settings in your browser’s local storage so you don’t have to enter them again, for example the fee rate in the Fee Calculator. These settings stay on your device and are never sent to us. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add analytics, advertising or any feature that sends your data to a server, we will update this page before it goes live and change the date at the top.
