How to use
Paste a Unix timestamp to see it as an ISO 8601 string, in UTC, in your local time zone and relative to now. To go the other way, pick a date and time and copy the timestamp in seconds or milliseconds.
Seconds or milliseconds?
Unix time counts from 1 January 1970 UTC. Most servers and databases use seconds (10 digits today), while JavaScript and Java use milliseconds (13 digits). Numbers of 12 or more digits are read as milliseconds automatically.
Which time zone is used?
Timestamps have no time zone; they mark a single instant. The "Local" row and the date picker use the time zone of your device.
