How to use
Pick a version, set how many UUIDs you need (up to 1,000) and click Generate. Copy one line or use "Copy all" for the whole list. Uppercase and hyphen-free formats are available for systems that need them.
UUID v4 or v7?
Version 4 is fully random and the most widely supported. Version 7 (RFC 9562) starts with a millisecond timestamp, so new IDs sort in creation order. That makes v7 a better primary key for databases, because inserts stay close together in the index.
Are these UUIDs unique and private?
They are generated in your browser with the Web Crypto random number generator, so they are never sent to or logged by a server. A v4 UUID has 122 random bits; the chance of a collision is negligible.
