How to use
Paste Chinese text and choose a direction. The result updates as you type. Taiwan and Hong Kong use different standard character forms, so pick the region your readers are in.
Characters and vocabulary
Converting character by character isn’t enough: one simplified character can map to several traditional ones depending on the word (发 → 發 or 髮). This tool uses the OpenCC dictionaries, which convert whole phrases. With Taiwan vocabulary on, words also change to local usage, such as 软件 → 軟體 and 鼠标 → 滑鼠.
