How to use
Choose, drop or paste images. Each one is compressed right away, and you can download them one by one or all together as a ZIP. Change the format, quality or size at any time and every image is compressed again with the new settings.
Your images are not uploaded
Most online compressors upload your photos to their servers. This one runs the same codecs as Google’s Squoosh (MozJPEG, libwebp and OxiPNG) inside your browser, so your images never leave your device. Location and camera data (EXIF) are removed from the compressed copies.
Which settings should I use?
A quality of 75 usually looks the same as the original at a fraction of the size. WebP is typically 25–35% smaller than JPEG at the same quality and works in all modern browsers. PNG is compressed losslessly, which suits screenshots and graphics; for photos, convert to JPEG or WebP. If a compressed file would be larger than the original, the original is kept.
