How to use
Pick a length and the character types you need, and new passwords appear instantly. Click Generate for a fresh set, then copy one or all of them. Every password includes at least one character of each type you chose.
Are the passwords secure?
They are created in your browser by the Web Crypto random number generator, the same source browsers use for encryption keys, and are never sent anywhere or stored. Each character is drawn uniformly, with no modulo bias.
How long should a password be?
Strength is measured in bits of entropy: each bit doubles the guesses an attacker needs. Aim for at least 80 bits, for example 14 characters using all four types. Use a different password for every site and keep them in a password manager.
